Competition rules “Brew one”

1. Duration of the competition

The competition runs on 25 April 2025.

2. Basic conditions of the competition, participants

Any natural person over 18 years of age with permanent residence in the Czech Republic who meets the conditions for participation in the competition (hereinafter referred to as “participant”, “competitor” or “customer”) may become a participant in the competition. By participating in the competition, the participant agrees to the terms and conditions of the competition and undertakes to comply with them.

3. Winnings

From the contestants who answer 5 questions correctly, we will draw 3 winners for each month of the competition, who will receive a prize - a carton of 24 x 0.5 l Pilsner Urquell cans. In total, 20 cartons will be up for grabs for the duration of the competition.

4. Principles and conditions of the competition, delivery of prizes

The competition is announced on the website: www.uvarsijedno.cz

Enter the competition by completing the interactive gamified section of the site, by clicking on the “Now Play for Beer” link.

Each contestant can only enter the prize competition once during the entire duration of the competition from one email address.

Prizes will be sent to the winners. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or other products or transferred to another person. Neither participation in the competition nor prizes can be claimed by legal action. The Competition Promoter is not responsible for non-delivery of prizes by the contracted carrier or for hidden defects in prizes provided as part of the promotion.

The winners will be contacted by the organizer by email, no later than 25 May 2025. After the winner is drawn, we will ask for the address to which we will send the prize. The prize will be sent no later than 30 days after the winner has been contacted. By entering the competition, each entrant agrees to the rules of the competition and undertakes to comply with them in full.

5. Processing of personal data, commercial communications

The processing of the personal data provided by the contestants is based on Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”). The personal data processed includes: name, surname, place of residence, year of birth, email, telephone number, for the purposes of participation in the competition, sending out information about the competition and its results, as well as for the purposes of prize notification and delivery. The personal data provided by the contestants will be deleted after the end of the contest, with the exception of the personal data of the winners, which will be processed for the period prescribed by law, including tax law, but no longer than 10 years from the date of the end of the contest. The data controller is Svencom, s.r.o., which will process all personal data in accordance with the rules set out in the GDPR.

The Contestant further agrees that the Promoter is entitled to publish his/her name in connection with winning the prize.

The Contestant further confirms that he/she has been informed by the Organiser of all his/her rights under the GDPR, i.e. in particular the right to withdraw his/her consent to the processing of personal data at any time by sending an e-mail message to the e-mail address: janousek@svencom.cz or in writing to the Organiser’s registered office address specified in these Competition Terms and Conditions, the right to access the processed personal data, the right to have personal data corrected and deleted, and the right to object to the processing of personal data.

6. Organizer’s rights and obligations

An entrant may be disqualified if the Promoter discovers or has reasonable grounds to suspect that a fraudulent or unfair act has been committed by any entrant or any other person who has assisted the entrant in obtaining the prize, or if the act is not fair play or is not based on the entrant’s skills as defined in the Competition Rules.

Prizes cannot be paid in cash. Neither participation in the competition nor prizes can be enforced by legal action or alternative performance.

7. Final provisions

These rules will be published by the organiser on the website: www.uvarsijedno.cz The Promoter reserves the right to unilaterally amend these rules, always with effect from the date of notification of the amendment to the rules on the website www.uvarsijedno.cz, unless it specifies that the amended rules will take effect at a later date.

The Organiser also reserves the right to cancel, stop, interrupt or postpone the competition at any time at its sole discretion.

The competition is governed by these rules and, to the extent remaining, by the laws of the Czech Republic. By registering, the Contestant acknowledges and agrees that any disputes arising in connection with the Contest will be resolved before the competent courts of the Czech Republic. These rules entered into force on 20 April 2025
